• Greenway Private Project 001 - Creating Gateway Labs

Our first project is Greenway Labs itself.

We are assembling a group of people from around the world to create, mold and shape the lab into a world changing force. To do so we recognize that Greenway Labs must be highly diverse with expertise in many areas including:

• Technology
• Ecology
• Economics
• Sociology
• Psychology
• Philosophy
• Politics

Using "open source" techniques, Greenway Labs hopes to draw from the knowledge, talent and experience of people on a global basis. This especially includes children, teens and young adults, who hold the future of this planet in their hands.

History is riddled with great ideas and inventions which went nowhere because they violated or ignored basic tenants of human nature. So from the start we recognize that if Greenway Labs projects are to be successful, we must address all aspects of who we are as a species and the world in which we live.

We also recognize that we live in an imperfect world, created in part by imperfect humans. One of Greenway Labs greatest challenges will be to find solutions to problems whose positive contributions adequately outweigh the negative consequences.

History is also riddled with great ideas and inventions which have been killed off by vocal and powerful minority groups. Ignoring opposition has been an all-to-common path to failure. Rather than trying to ignore opposing forces, Greenway Labs will actively seek their participation. Unlike the past, however, their participation comes with a equal burden of explaining and defending the consequences of their actions.

So take some time to carefully consider what Greenway Labs can be, and how it should function. I very much look forward to your participation.
